FISHER OWNERS GROUP OF NORTH AMERICA
After 17 months on the hard, my Fisher is finally floating. Some of the details of this extensive re-fit:
New Volvo/Penta MD40 fit like a glove. Also new:
Blue Sea AC/DC panels
Raymarine C-120 system
high water alarm
smoke and carbon dioxide alarms
new fuel tank, lines ball valves ect.
Soundown applied to engine compartment
Racor fuel seperator
Interior gutted as much as possible, steamed cleaned and tabbing repaired where needed
Hull lined applied
New portholes (operable) v-berth
New headliner and lights
Interior cabin lights kept and refitted with up to date bulbs
All interior cleaned (not sanded as not to lose patina) and coated with urethane.
Pilot station fitted with new teak
exterior wood cleaned and oiled
all exterior lighting replaced with halogen bulbs
grab rails on pilot house replaced
slip proof coating applied
New name of vessel: Archangel.
